The Resource Teachers of Literacy (RTLit) Service provides time-limited support to years 0–8 students with high literacy needs. To do this, approximately 109 RTLit teachers work with classroom teachers to build teacher capability in teaching literacy to students who need support. Each RTLit is employed by a host school and works across a number of schools within a cluster.
RTLit practice has been guided by two separate manuals. They have been combined into one, refreshed manual.
