Young learners benefit from Better Start Literacy Approach

University of Canterbury’s Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA) is finding that “explicit teaching is closing gaps between learners’ literacy progress and development.” 

A recent article written by Education Gazette reveals how ākonga benefit from BSLA and that partnering with whānau is crucial to “support their child’s oral language, reading and writing development”.
